Gil Stauffer moves the historical archive of Spanish Catholic Action from Madrid to Salamanca
On 1 February last, the collection of the historical archive of Spanish Catholic Actionat 4, Calle Alfonso XI, Madrid, with a view to transferring it to the Deposit of the Archives of the Pontifical University of Salamanca.
The operation of the relocation The work to implement the new project lasted two long working days. cargo originally in a 12-metre truck, plus another support vehicle and a van which also formed part of the convoy during the transport until the arrival and subsequent download in the University Archiveslocated in Cervantes Street in Salamanca.
The transferred material consisted of three thousand archive boxesequivalent to 300 linear metres, and the operation was carried out under the traceability which had previously been established by GIL STAUFFERThe project, in logistical coordination and under the supervision of expert archivists and experienced Spanish Episcopal Conference.
